As a Part-Time Preschool and Kindergarten Lead, you’ll get to advance the gospel by overseeing an area that is seeing tremendous growth on campus. Here, you will help to create weekly lessons, facilitate as a lead preschool teacher, and help our 3-5 year old group learn more about Jesus each and every week. Note: As a Preschool/Kindergarten Coordinator, you will be provided with additional volunteers to assist you weekly, usually one or two people.

Job entails approximately (6) hours of work per week you are assigned weekly. 4 hours on Sunday, 2 potential hours of prep-time during the week before you facilitate the lesson. We currently employ (2) Preschool/Kindergarten Coordinators. This new hire will rotate on a three-week basis with our current leads.

general responsiblities

  • You’ll be a visible leader on the campus, executing the vision of the church and KidCity.

  • Assist Kids Director (Pastor Josh) in creating PreK/K lessons for Sunday morning Kids Services, as well as working directly with our additional Preschool/Kindergarten Coordinators.

  • Print, plan and execute the lesson material provided to you by the team while developing your own weekly craft activity to go along with the lesson.

  • Facilitate our (5) Step Preschool + Kindergarten Sunday morning experience (Playtime / Lesson Time / Snack Time / Coloring Time / Craft Time)

  • Be present to lead and teach during both the 9AM and 11AM KidCity Preschool and Kindergarten service. Please note, this is on a three-week rotational basis (meaning you serve one week, you are off two weeks, and then you serve again).

  • Clean-up your designated area after 11AM service including vacuuming, wiping tables and putting away all toys and materials.

  • A team player with excellent communication skills

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability

  • Great attention to detail and time-management skills

  • Proficient in Google Drive Suite

  • Experience working with Preschool/Kindergarten age children

  • Experience volunteering with children
