job description
As a Part-Time KidCity Special Needs Lead, you’ll get to advance the gospel by overseeing an area that is seeing tremendous growth on campus. Here, you will assist with a group of students through both the 9am and 11am services that have a variety of special needs within our Preschool through 5th Grade department. Note: You will be provided with additional volunteers to assist you weekly, usually one or two people.
Students with special needs include (but are not limited to): Autism, Downs Syndrome, ADHD, hearing or visual impairments, learning disabilities, etc.
Job entails approximately (6) hours of work per week you are assigned weekly. 4 hours on Sunday, 2 potential hours of prep-time during the week before you facilitate.

You’ll be a visible leader on the campus, executing the vision of the church and KidCity.
Assist Kids Director (Pastor Josh) as well as working directly with our additional Preschool/Kindergarten Coordinators.
Execute accommodations provided by curriculum designed for our special needs students.
Be present in both the 9AM and 11AM KidCity service. Please note, this is on a two-week rotational basis (meaning you serve one week, you are off two weeks, and then you serve again).
Clean-up your designated area after 11AM service including vacuuming, wiping tables and putting away all toys and materials.

Proficient in Google Drive Suite
